Mixing colors method.

Mixing colors is needed to create artistic effects in a picture (e.g. to create color gradients or compound color for some object).

а. Mixing colors by pulling

Take some pieces of wool of selected colors in one hand. All fibers shall be arranged in the same direction.

While holding the pieces of wool in one hand, pull out several fine slivers with the other hand.

Fold them together.

b. Mixing colors by picking

Take some pieces of wool of selected colors in one hand and fold them in half.

Pick slivers of every color one after another. As a result you will have a multicolored wool nub in your hand.
